How can I find out if I have a legal case? It is in a gray area such as a civil case!?

You trot out your facts - who, what, where, when, why, how much (the value of what you lost because of some party's alleged negligence) - and you submit them to atty. If you submit them here, some of us may be able to suggest the area of law you might research to learn more about your problem and how similar fact patterns resolve in the courts of your jurisdiction. More than this will require an expensive legal opinion. Hint: If you can boil your facts down to a couple of sentences along with a summary of the result you hope to achieve with legal action, an atty will be able to tell you pretty quickly whether your claim merits further attention or whether, as is often the case, a limitation period bars your action. He who hesitates is lost - at least in the law courts. How can I find out if I have a legal case? It is in a gray area such as a civil case!?
