The plaintiff can go back to court and get an order of garnishment. Therefore, if you work, your check will be garnished. If you do not work, but own a house, vehicle, etc., the court can order a lien placed against your item(s).
The courts can put a lien against any property not covered under homestead exemption. They can also put a lien on the defendant's credit, so the next time they try to buy a car or house they will be denied until your debt is repaid.
