If you win a civil court case, does the loser pay your solictor costs?

I live in the top part of a house with a shared garden,The shared driveway is blocked off from any vehicle acess with pot plants and doorstep built %26amp; neighbour parks across dropped curb on purpose. The big back garden needs attention but i can,t get access to it. Neighbour is a nutter and i,ve endured nothing but conflict and hatred. I,m at the end of my tether. If you win a civil court case, does the loser pay your solictor costs?
I think so yes.If you win a civil court case, does the loser pay your solictor costs?
It would be usual for a successful litigant to be awarded their costs in a UK civil case (other than small claims). It must, however, be noted that the court has absolute discretion on whether to make that award or not. And even if the court awards costs, actually recovering the money is another matter entirely.
Your solicitor should apply to the court for costs to be awarded and they are paid ,usually ,by the court office in the case of expenses.
the court makes the decision on who pays costs, usually its the loser who pays the other sides fees, but there is no guarantee
as long as you include your attorney fees when filing your case.
