I am in pro per and have really came a lot further than I orginally expected. How do I file an opposition to a demurrer in a civil case?
I will assume, this is a civil case in the US, and your are the plaintiff Pro-Se if that is the case you may not be as far long as you may believe. I think it would be fair to assume the defendant has a lawyer who has made the motion, if so without knowing all the facts and your state laws, your complaint may have been inadequate in the pleadings, if it鈥檚 the case then your case could be very well dismissed.
if your complaint had the adequate state statute quoted for your cause of action, listed the elements of the cause of action and had the right fact pattern your case should survive the motion, if the complaint is not adequate in the pleadings you probably will have the case dismiss
But its over all hard to know the right out come with out knowing the original complaint and state laws, if you still seek to move ahead pro-se, either seeks out a law school who maybe able to help with the complaint or seek a lawyer, anytime you sue for something other then small claims jurisdiction your are playing with the big boys and the courts take pleading very seriously and required them to be factual and statutory correct

I would seriously recommend consulting a lawyer for legal issues. Do you really think anyone on Yahoo! Answers is qualified to give legal advise? Most of us can't punctuate a sentence properly.
